Austėja Sokolovaitė – HR Business Partner

Hi Austėja. Tell us about your role at Eltel.

As an HR Business Partner for Communication, I manage both internal and external communication along with HR tasks

Could you tell us what you do on a day-to-day basis?

My daily responsibilities include improving teamwork and motivation, handling recruitment needs and talent acquisition process and implementing employer brand development programs. I focus on fostering a positive work environment and ensuring effective communication channels both within and outside the organization.

What do you enjoy most in your job?

What I enjoy most in my job is the fantastic team I work with internally and at the Eltel Group level. The dynamic nature of my role, where each day brings new challenges, is something I find very attractive as well. Additionally, I value the freedom and trust my managers provide in decision-making, which allows me to contribute effectively to the organization.

Can you tell us what you are working on now?

Currently, I am immersed in various initiatives, including the implementation of Eltel's new values. Additionally, I am actively involved in coordinating a spring student career fairs marathon to attract new talent to our organization. Simultaneously I'm dedicated to the execution of our HR strategy, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.

What are your future career hopes?

In the future, I aspire to continue growing within my role, taking on more leadership responsibilities. I'm keen on expanding my expertise in communication and HR, contributing to the success of Eltel. Additionally, I look forward to exploring opportunities for professional development and furthering my impact on both team dynamics and strategic initiatives.
