Eltel Networks signs a EUR 43,6 million contract in Power in Poland

Eltel Networks Olsztyn, Polish subsidiary of Eltel Group Corporation, has signed a power transmission contract with the operator PSE SA in Poland. The project is a modernisation and development of 400/220 kV substation Krajnik in the western part of Poland.

The project consists of obtaining the right of way, design works, modernisation and development of nine bays of a 400kV substation, and the modernisation of connected 220 and 400kV lines.

 The value of contract is approximately EUR 43,6 million and it will be delivered within the next four years. The 400/220kV Krajnik substation plays a key role in the Polish transmission system. It facilitates the power outcome from Dolna Odra Power station and direct connection with German transmission system. The substation closes the Polish trans-border ring.
