Eltel’s rail and road business wins a two-year project agreement in Sweden

Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) has signed a prime contract with Veidekke Anläggning Öst and Eltel will act as a subcontractor in the project to perform rail related works. A new rail way station with new platforms and additional tracks will be built. The total value of the investment is approximately SEK 270 million of which Eltel’s share is approximately one third.

Eltel’s scope of delivery will be installation of electricity, catenary, signaling and telecommunications. The project will start in the fourth quarter of 2015 and is expected to be concluded in 2017.
