Forget Me (GDPR)

As per GDPR regulation Art. 17 Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) companies must have in place a process to allow former employees to have their personal data forgotten. The extent of which data can be deleted or anonymised is based on local law.

How does it work?

If an employee, after the end of employment, wants to be forgotten in Eltel‘s HR (Human Resources) and payroll systems, they can send a request to the following email address:

gdprforgetme@eltelnetworks.com

When Eltel receives such an email, a document will be sent to the former employee to confirm their identity. This document must be filled in and sent back to Eltel, as per the instructions on the document.

After receiving the identity confirmation document and all actions are completed in Eltel’s systems, a confirmation email will be sent to the requestor.
